Areas of Specialty

Inflammation

The focussed interdisciplinary set up at ISHI helps efficient and wholistic management of inflammatory problems.

Dermatology - Skin

Managing skin inflammation, including eczema and psoriasis, is a focus of our work. As well as having complementary specialists on site, we are fortunate to also have direct access to essentially all treatment options including phototherapy, biologics, and also the newest agents only available through clinical trials.

We also have the latest German high resolution body (mole) mapping equipment of Fotofinder to complement (but not replace) specialist full body skin examination to help early detection of skin cancers and to monitor skin changes.

Dermatologists and dermatology nurses work together seeking to provide the highest level of care.

We wish to discuss management options openly with you and your GP to ensure that treatments are properly tailored to your needs.

Rheumatology - Joints & soft tissues

For inflammatory joint disease and connective tissue diseases like lupus and dermatomyositis, early diagnosis and targeted management is important to prevent long term organ damage and to preserve joint function. Multidisciplinary care where needed allows prompt address of systemic and local problems to reduce burden and impact. We also have special interest in auto-inflammatory as well as autoimmune conditions.

Allergy & Immune related diseases

We cover many forms of allergy: anaphylaxis, drug, food, insect and venom, and respiratory. We also have expertise in allergy testing, desensitization, and immunotherapy. Mutidisciplinary care is also beneficial in managing skin allergies like urticaria, angioedema, autoimmune disease, and immune deficiencies.

Paediatrics

At ISHI, we treat even the smallest members of the family. From infancy to 18, we're here for examination, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing wellness of children.

Telehealth Services

Sometimes there are obstacles to coming into a medical office, but help is still available by video with or without securely transferred high resolution photographs. Our doctors can meet you over a HIPAA compliant connection. Same day appointments may be available.
